Every dream has a beginning.

Ours began in 2021, during one of the most

uncertain times in modern history.

While the world was slowing down during COVID,

Eden was born online, not as a business, but as a way to bring

people together through food, tradition and community.

When flour became difficult to find, Daniele shared what he

had with families so they could continue baking at home.

It was simply about helping.

When Mary and Daniele arrived in Australia, they had no family,

no connections, very little English and no idea how difficult

starting again would be.

They had only a dream and the courage to begin.

Daniele had already built an international career as a multi

award winning pastry chef, but in Australia he started again from

the beginning, even working as a kitchen hand.

There were challenges, but then the Inner West welcomed them.

Strangers became friends. Customers became family. Small acts

of kindness made Australia feel like home.

When Eden finally opened its doors, that same spirit continued.

You brought us gifts, stories, smiles and friendship. The candelabra,

the armchairs, the antique plates and all the little treasures around

Eden are reminders that this place was built not only by us, but by all of you.

You didn’t just support our business. You helped build our home.

Today, Eden is more than a Pasticceria.

It is a place to share coffee, celebrate life, make memories and feel welcome.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey.
